Have painted my sketch with indian ink and watercolour- I wanted to use the same colours Egon Schiele uses (as this is part of my brief). I haven't finished it yet as I feel there is 'something missing'....mmmmm

Been working a bit more on my puppet image...I'm hoping to have it done by this weekend-

I've posted my sketch and a picture of my little room where I work (the small one at the back of my house basically) - I thought it looked quite sweet!

Hello

For those of you who have heard all about my advertising project on the forum (gabby!)...this is my second draft- I am going to create a poster now (yes, I know I changed my mind but it's a good change!). On it will be an image of a girl who looks like a puppet with strings. The strings are being controlled by the word: advertising and she is slumped on the floor. Attached to all the strings are little labels that read things like 'flabby' and 'wrinkles' (these may change). I have attached two sketches and some text ideas from my sketchbook. I prefer the more simple sketch to use for my development- the figure looks like that of a doll more than the other. Oh- and at the bottom will be a slogan to make it come together. I'm not sure what it will be yet but I've had a few ideas so I'll be back in a couple of days with more development.

I'm enjoying this project a lot more now that I have a bit of direction and I definitely feel more in control of my image- it's not dictating my layout etc anymore and I have more freedom to develop and change it!

hurrah! :-)

Hurrah!

I'm back and I've actually done some work!

Those of you from the AOI forum: Here is a sketch of my billboard advertising idea and I am not happy AT ALL...

It's meant to be a illustration of a 'normal' woman in full colour with a greyish collage background going off in perspective of our environment...I'm stuck basically.

PS. I know it's a crap scan
